I think I will adapt this a bit to use in my classroom on the first day. It will help the table groups gel. Most of the students in my class know each other. We have very low turnover, and many of students stay in our school from K-8. But we do have 3-4 new students in each class, each year, so it will also help the new kids get to know their classmates.
